Maintenance
Temperature monitoring for motors, bearings, gearboxes and areas prone to overheating, supporting maintenance checks on machinery and equipment.
Product range / Liquid crystal thermometers
Self-adhesive Digi-Temp® liquid crystal (TLC) thermometers display the current surface or air temperature. The current reading appears green, and the colours change reversibly as the temperature changes — allowing repeated use without batteries or wiring. The green segment indicates the actual temperature; if no green is visible, the temperature is between the brown segment (just above) and the blue segment (just below). Custom sizes, shapes, ranges, segment counts and logo printing are available on request.
Practical applications
A self-adhesive liquid crystal thermometer lets you monitor the current temperature of a motor, pipe, tank or control cabinet. It provides simple support for maintenance, refrigeration and periodic system inspections.
Temperature monitoring for motors, bearings, gearboxes and areas prone to overheating, supporting maintenance checks on machinery and equipment.
Temperature monitoring for control cabinets, heat exchangers and pipework, as well as ventilation and refrigeration systems in energy and HVAC applications.
Easy-to-read temperature monitoring for plant rooms, archives and warehouses, providing a clear indication of the current temperature in these spaces.

Full product range details
A liquid crystal thermometer is a self-adhesive label with segments containing microencapsulated liquid crystal (TLC). As the temperature rises, the crystal molecules twist and reflect a different wavelength of light — the segment corresponding to the current temperature appears green. This change is reversible, allowing one thermometer to be used over a long period.
The Digi-Temp® series includes horizontal thermometers (7- and 13-segment models and a room thermometer) and vertical thermometers (7-, 8- and 16-segment models). Together, they cover a range from −30 to 120 °C. Applications include machinery, pipework, control cabinets, cold rooms, aquariums, warehouses and plant rooms.

Questions to consider before choosing
A reversible liquid crystal thermometer is attached directly to the surface being monitored. The active coloured segment indicates its current temperature.
Digitemp displays the current temperature and responds repeatedly to changes. Thermax permanently records the highest temperature reached and has a separate, detailed product page.

Each field contains liquid crystal microcapsules on a black background. When the temperature marked on a field is reached, the crystal molecules twist slightly and reflect the green part of the light spectrum. As the temperature falls, the colours return in reverse order — the thermometer can be used repeatedly.
Brown field
The temperature is just above the value shown in this field.
Green field
This is the actual temperature.
Blue field
The temperature is just below the value shown in this field.
If no field shows green, the temperature is halfway between the brown and blue fields. Shades may vary slightly depending on the label type.
Colour-changing material: a non-toxic blend of liquid crystal esters. Shelf life: 12 months at 21 °C and 50% RH.
In addition to standard thermometers (−30 to 120 °C), the manufacturer offers custom versions with tailored dimensions, shape, colour, temperature range, number of fields and printing, such as a company logo. Contact us for details.
