Product range / Temperature and humidity data loggers

Temperature and humidity data loggers

Electronic data loggers record complete temperature and humidity profiles during pharmaceutical and food transport, in dry ice down to −100 °C, in warehouses, and during pasteurisation and sterilisation up to +130 °C. Models compliant with EN 12830 and FDA 21 CFR Part 11, with NIST calibration.

Practical applications

Complete temperature and humidity records — from dry ice to pasteurisation

The logger records temperature or humidity throughout the process and generates a report that can be included in quality documentation, claims or audits. We select the model to suit the measurement range, data retrieval method and operating conditions.

Pharmaceuticals and healthcare

GDP-compliant transport of medicines and vaccines, blood banks, clinical trials, pharmacies and wholesalers.

Dry ice and laboratories

Dry ice shipments, −80 °C ultra-low-temperature freezers, biological samples and plasma.

Food industry (HACCP)

Pasteurisation in breweries and bottling plants, canned food, smokehouses, cooking, cold stores and food transport.

Warehouses and indoor spaces

Temperature & Humidity Data Loggers | LC KOLOR

An electronic temperature data logger records the complete profile of monitored conditions, with a date and time for each measurement. This shows not only whether an excursion occurred, but also when and for how long. These records form the basis of documentation for pharmaceutical transport under Good Distribution Practice (GDP), HACCP systems, thermal process validation and warehouses requiring humidity monitoring.

The range covers four groups: USB transport loggers with automatic PDF reports (iMiniPlus PDF), dry ice loggers down to −100 °C (iMiniPlus Dry Ice), temperature and humidity loggers with alarms (iMINI, iLog), and steel process loggers for pasteurisation, cooking and autoclaves up to +130 °C (KeyTag Kt1HT, Escort Junior). Models meet the requirements of EN 12830 and FDA 21 CFR Part 11, and calibration can be verified with a NIST certificate.

Monitoring vaccine temperatures in a clinic, pharmacy or vaccination centre requires continuous recording within the +2…+8 °C range — including overnight and on non-working days. A logger with an alarm shows when and for how long the refrigerator temperature was outside the required range, while a printout or PDF file provides evidence for public health inspections. The same requirement to document temperature applies to cold rooms in funeral homes, mortuaries and post-mortem facilities.

In breweries and food processing plants, immersion-resistant loggers (IP68) are placed inside a bottle, can or jar passing through a pasteurisation tunnel. Recording the product temperature allows pasteurisation units (PU) to be calculated and process effectiveness to be verified.

KeyTag Kt1HT

SUS 304 steel high-temperature data logger with two probes

How it works

Highly accurate, reusable data logger made from food-contact-approved stainless steel, with two external probes: a 60 mm top probe (rounded Ø 5 mm tip) and a 25 mm side probe. Used to monitor pasteurisation, cooking, smoking and sterilisation — for example, inside a jar, can or product in an autoclave. When connected via USB, it works like a USB flash drive and automatically generates PDF, CSV and TXT reports. Each unit is calibrated at 4 points (60, 80, 100 and 120 °C) and supplied with a calibration certificate.

Application and use

For measuring temperature inside the product during pasteurisation, cooking, smoking and autoclaving — up to +130 °C. Start the logger before transport and position it as close as possible to the goods being monitored. After delivery, retrieve the data using the selected reporting method.

Questions to consider before choosing

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a temperature data logger and a temperature indicator?

An indicator only shows whether a threshold has been exceeded. A data logger records each measurement with a date and time, producing a graph and report covering the entire shipment or process.

Which logger generates a PDF report without installing software?

When connected via USB, iMiniPlus PDF and KeyTag Kt1HT work like USB flash drives and automatically generate PDF reports. The other models are read using the free Console Plus or Console Pro software.

Which data logger should I choose for dry ice?

iMiniPlus Dry Ice measures from −100 °C to +40 °C. The probe on a Teflon cable goes inside the container, while the logger and its display remain outside. The iLog N-range model is also suitable for dry ice.

Do the loggers comply with EN 12830 and FDA 21 CFR Part 11?

Yes — iMiniPlus PDF, iMiniPlus Dry Ice and iLog have declared compliance with EN 12830 and 21 CFR Part 11, and iMINI with 21 CFR Part 11. Calibration can be verified with a NIST certificate.

How can I measure pasteurisation temperature inside a bottle or can?

Escort Junior has M6 threaded probes that screw into the packaging, while KeyTag Kt1HT has a 60 mm probe for insertion into the product. Both loggers have steel housings and are sealed (IP68 / IP67).
